How can I check prices and availability?
Use the booking button on this page, then select your dates and quantity. Booqable will show the available options for your selection.
What is the Moto Chefe RET's range?
The manufacturer's current website states a maximum range of up to 50 km for the RET, but earlier materials provided lower figures. Rental vehicle range is not guaranteed and varies with the battery, load, terrain, speed and route. Ask our team before planning a long journey.
Which documents do I need?
You must show an official photo ID, such as a Brazilian ID, driver's license or passport. Rio E-Bike will notify you of any additional requirements before pickup.
How does the security deposit work?
The security deposit is BRL 280 per rented scooter. For multiple scooters, the total is BRL 280 multiplied by the quantity. We place a temporary authorization on a card separately through Stripe at pickup, without charging it immediately. After return and inspection with no damage or outstanding issues, we cancel the authorization; the issuing bank determines when the card limit is released.
Where do I pick up the scooter? Is delivery available?
Pickup is free near Posto 6 in Copacabana. Delivery in the South Zone is available for BRL 30, subject to availability and prior confirmation.
Can two people ride the RET?
This model has a seat for two. Before riding, ask our team about safety, permitted load and applicable road rules for your route.
